Lysonic Monochromatic Ink Sets
for the IRIS®
The Lysonic i family of inks includes four monochromatic ink sets; three varieties of Quad-Black (cool, neutral, warm) and the Small Gamut ink set.
Quad Black
The Quad-Black sets are each made of four dilutions of the same black and as such are not tunable in terms of hue. By using simple color curve adjustments in image software such as Adobe PhotoShop, stunning black & white images with tonal graduation to match traditional silver Halide printing can be produced.
Small Gamut
The Small Gamut set (patent pending) is actually a four color ink set with greatly reduced color gamut that permits you to correct for non-linear color casts in grayscale images and produce create tint effects with monochrome images.
All monochromatic ink sets are currently available from i-Lab Corporation in only 400 ml (for 3000 series printers) bottle size.
